Hello and welcome to my blog site.  As a real estate professional and a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and its beautiful beaches, I pride myself on knowing and understanding our ever changing real estate market both locally as well as our surrounding areas.  I am passionate about Jacksonville and all it has to offer.  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Jacksonville is the largest city in land area in the contiguous United States.  If you love the water you will love that Jacksonville is skirted by the Atlantic Ocean and the St. Johns River runs directly through our city, we also have the Trout River as well as countless lakes, creeks and ponds.  Boating, fishing and water sports are a large part of the Jacksonville lifestyle.  This is perfect considering that Jacksonville's climate is considered to be subtropical with highs in the summer months reaching the mid to high 90's and fairly mild winters with an average of 10 to 15 freezes a year.  Jacksonville operates the largest urban park system in the United States, providing facilities and services at more than 337 locations on more than 80,000 acres.
